A premium liner hook-up, boasting innovative design features intended to put any liner into place even in the most demanding open-hole conditions.
Absolute’s EXTrackTM hydraulic setting tool is designed for vigorous push, pull, drill-down, and drill-in operations required in working moderate to heavy liners to bottom.
Setting
The EXTrackTM is operated by a hydraulic pressure differential created by a circulated ball that is pumped to a seat in the running head.differential pressure acts upon an internal piston in the strainer ring assembly that shears the external sleeve of the strainer ring assembly applying downward force onto the tie-back receptacle of the liner hanger.
The complete range of motion of the strainer ring assembly’s hydraulic piston activates the Superset liner hangers SecureSlipTM System.
Release
The EXTrackTM is released from a Seal and/or liner hanger by over pressuring the running head. The resulting differential across the ball in seat causes a small internal sleeve to shear into a downward bypass configuration. The resulting loss of pressure positively indicates that the release mechanism is in the correct position. A slight downward movement of the running tool (2cm), releases the clutch mechanism and locks the running teeth into an unset position. .In the locked unset position, a right-hand rotation serves as a mechanical emergency release. filtration.
